DAV Centenary Public School Jind celebrated 194th birthday of Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ji as Grandparents day on 10th Feb 2018. 
Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Dharamdev Vidyarthi, Regional Director cum Principal of the school said that no God is inaccessible after serving the parents and no more pilgrimage is greater than their feet, Indeed all the deities reside in their hearts. He emphasized that today's younger generation has become self centered and the need of the hour is to bring moral values ​in life and by honoring the elderly. 
In order to awaken the values ​​in the children, Dada dadi, Nana-Nani Poojan was organized in today's program. In this celebration, the Chief guest was Mr. Challaramam, the oldest Grandparent who was 90 years old. As guest of honour , Mr. Prithvichand and Taribai who have seen more than 88 springs of life were present. 
Little Children were glad to welcome their Grandparents. They displayed their gratitude by various cultural performances. Many competitions were also organized for the Grandparents.
In one minute show, Grandfather Bhalar Ram and Subhash Dharampal Singhji stood first in the competition for eating the Laddus, . Dadi Bimala Devi was the first in the contest of Roti Belo. Dada Captain Rajendra outshined all in sugar cane eating competition. Dadas' team defeated Nanas' team in the rope pulling contest. In the Antakshari competition grandmothers defeated grandfathers. Mahendra Singh and his wife were awarded Dada-Dadi of the year award. Mrs and Mr.Satish Bhardwaj were chosen as best couple.
