SCIENCE EXHIBITION

An Inter-School Science Exhibition for the students of 6th to 12th was organised in the premises of DAV Centenary Public school Jind on 13 December 2019, Friday. The main theme of the exhibition was ‘Science and Technology for Sustainable Development of Environment’ with the sub-themes – Sustainable Agricultural Practices, Cleanliness and Health, Resource Management, Industrial Development, Future transport and Communication. Special care was taken by students to use eco-friendly material to prepare their exhibits. Near about 100 students registered their participation with about 50 models. The schools and exhibits were adjudged on the basis of the following criteria :- creativity and imagination , originality and innovative approach , Eco-friendly and cost-effectiveness, working model, utility for society, Presentation, Display and Explanation. The students who stood first and second from each of the participating schools – Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Maharaja Agrasen girls Senior secondary school, SD school Narwana, DAV Centenary Public school Jind and Moti Lal Nehru Public school Jind were awarded. Participation certificates were given to all the participants. Regional Director of DAV schools Jind Zone, Dr D Vidyarthi, Director of Motilal Nehru Public School Mr. Vipin Rana and Principal of Moti Lal Nehru Public school Mr Ravinder Kumar were present on the occasion.
On the whole it was a wonderful learning experience for the students of all the five participating schools where they collaboratively displayed and share their knowledge.
