Unperturbed by the torrential rains today , the DAV Jind family came together in large numbers to celebrate the 72nd Independence Day with the waves of patriotic passion rippling in the spirit of students, staff and parents.

Principal cum Regional Officer of DAV Dr.D.D. Vidyarthi along with guest of honour Lieutenant Karan Vyas graced the occasion with their presence.The flag was ceremoniously unfurled by these distinguished guests, to the tune of national anthem.

On this occasion the students ignited the programme with heartfelt performances depicting the events of Indian freedom struggle and contributions of our great freedom fighters .
Dr.D.D. Vidyarthi warmly welcomed and acknowledged the presence and patriotism of students despite the holiday being declared.
In his address to students he gave a short flash back of how the British entered, invaded, ravaged India. He highlighted the sacrifice and the blood of the martyrs which gave the country freedom. He urged the students to use this freedom for the growth of human development. Special guest Ex student of school Lieutenant Karan Vyas thanked the management for inviting him and gave the credit of his success to the SCHOOL and teachers.
